Father, let that time be now and lead us into true worship. Amen.
Salvationists from across the Eastern Territory and beyond will be gathering together this weekend in Hershey, PA for the events of Commissioning 2016. One of the events leading up to the Ordination and Commissioning of the Messengers of Light session is the Saturday evening program, “In Spirit & In Truth.”
On Saturday, June 11th at 7:30PM in Hershey, PA a community of believers will gather together in worship. Worship leaders from around the territory will contribute their voices and leadership to the great song of Salvation from the weekend.
Whether you are there in person or following the livestream, our prayer is that you make yourself available to the transforming presence of God in your life. Come longing for, anticipating and expecting the Spirit to do miraculous things!
While the worship teams are leading our voices in song and prayer, there will be other stations around the room. (click on the links to get more details for each station)
- Bring a friend or a mentor with you to the Crossroads Café and catch up, pray together and have a hot beverage or a light snack.
- Maybe you’ve been swept up in artistic worship like Songbook Journaling or Adult Coloring.
- Perhaps God is turning the eyes of your heart outward and the Justice & Mercy station with a table for the Others initiative or Overseas Child Sponsorship is a way for you to partner with God and meet specific needs.
- At the Love & Good Deeds station, we’ve provided stationery and writing utensils for the letter writers and encouragers among us. You’ll find pre-made labels for the Messengers of Light session that are about to be commissioned, the Intercessors of Joy that are going off to summer assignment, the incoming Messengers of the Gospel session as well as our Eastern Territorial officers serving overseas.

- Inspired by the worship and community experience of the evening, featured artist Casey Fletcher will be painting on two massive 4”x8” canvases.
- Head over to the Wailing Wall for some personal and intercessory prayer time. We will provide pens and paper for you to write your request and put it in the wall. Several intercessors have volunteered to pray with you, your family, your corps or your group of friends. Come and pray and be prayed for.
May we join together in worship, may our voices and prayers rise to the Father as one. May we be “true worshipers” and let that time be right now!
