October is Fair Trade Month. I would invite you to spend a few minutes and go through the slides below to learn more about Fair Trade, and The Salvation Army’s own ethical enterprise – Others Trade for Hope.
Psalm 106 says:
Praise the Lord.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
2 Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord
or fully declare his praise?
3 Blessed are those who act justly,
who always do what is right.
One way that we act justly, is to purchase goods that are ethically made.
With every dollar that you spend, you are casting a vote for the kind of world you want.
